A cult is defined as a group of people who idealise a particular individual, ideal or object. A cult usually consists of a select group of fanatics or misguided outsiders whose beliefs have separated them from normal society. You would think that in this day and age people would be wary of cults and see the insanity behind them. However there are still some dangerous and sinister cults that still exist today and which are open for membership.
